1. Ocean Springs Beach

And it’s just a short 10-minute drive across Biloxi Bay Bridge to Biloxi itself.

You can bring your pup to Ocean Springs Beach all year round. Just remember to always keep her on a leash.

2. Waveland Beach

  • Four miles of gorgeous sandy beach for you and your furball to enjoy

Waveland Beach is on the outskirts of Bay St. Louis.

It’s 45 miles west of Biloxi. And just 17 miles from the state border with Louisiana.

This is a gorgeous gem of a beach for you and your canine companion to enjoy all year round. Just remember to keep your furball on a leash at all times whilst at the beach.

A Peaceful, Relaxing, Uncrowded Beach

There are few amenities here, but the upside is that this is a peaceful, relaxing, uncrowded beach.

Take some time out with your pup and enjoy the four mile stretch of golden sand and the beautiful warm water (in the summer, at least.)

3. Bay St. Louis Beach

  • 916 South Beach Boulevard, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520
  • Fantastic pet-friendly Mississippi dog beach
  • Leashed dogs are allowed at Bay St. Louis Beach all year round
  • Restaurants along the beach close to Main Street
  • Beautiful beach, with shallow water for a long way out

Bay St. Louis Beach is located just 3 miles east of Waveland Beach. It’s in the pretty city of Bay St. Louis, on Mississippi’s Gulf Coast.

This lovely beach permits dogs all year round. You just need to ensure that your pup is always on a leash whilst at the beach.

An open-air parking lot is available at 304 South Beach Boulevard. It’s called the St. Stanislaus Big Lot. Daily rates are $4 for 4 hours, $12 for 12 hours and $20 for 24 hours. There are other rates in between as well.

Restaurants, cafes and bars are located to the north of the parking lot, further along South Beach Boulevard.

4. Pascagoula Beach West

  • 2511 Beach Boulevard, Pascagoula, MS 39567
  • Beautiful clean stretch of Mississippi Gulf Coast beach

  • Plenty of parking at Point Park (also called “The Point”), located at 500 Beach Boulevard

Pascagoula Beach West is located in the small city of Pascagoula, in Jackson County, Mississippi.

This beautiful clean stretch of fine golden sand is part of Mississippi’s Gulf Coast.

It’s located in the southeastern corner of the state, just 13 miles from the state border with Alabama. And it’s a 40-minute drive east from Biloxi, Mississippi.

Dogs Are Permitted On The Beach Between Hague Street And Market Street

The Pascagoula City Ordinances were revised in April 2019 and there is now only a specific section of the beach that permits dogs.

This designated section is from Hague Street to Market Street, a distance of approximately a half mile. And note that your pup must be on a leash at all times whilst at the beach.

Leashed dogs are also allowed on The Promenade by the beach, between Point Park (also called “The Point”) to the west and Oliver Street to the east.
